Cantanti is an ensemble of six singers from and based in Liverpool. We all met through our love for music, performing within various professional choirs and our experiences together led to the formation of the choir. We perform at weddings, corporate events and funerals, as well as performing recitals and concerts and working with new composers.

Jennifer and Aimée performed twice at our wedding and it was a core part of our entertainment for the day. Feedback from guests was awesome.

Sang during the Order of Service at our wedding and to this day, our guests still talk about the beautiful singing. They were professional, organised and sang our chosen pieces flawlessly. We would not hesitate to book again for any special occasion.

Customer questions

Do you have different line-up options?

Our full line up is 6 choral singers; soprano, mezzo soprano, alto, tenor and baritone/bass. Depending on availability, we may offer smaller ensembles, such as quintets and quartets.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

If timings change after booking us, please let us know and we will do our best to be flexible and meet your needs.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Due to the nature of or gigs, we wouldn’t normally offer this service due to additional equipment required, but in our chat with you, we can see if this is possible.

How much time do you need to set up?

Our set up time is minimal for church services and intimate events, as we sing without microphones. For larger events, we would require up to 30 minutes to set up sound/lighting, if required.

Can you roam around while you perform?

If we don’t require microphone set up, we are able to vary our positions throughout the venue. This goes down particularly well for our carol singing sets.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

For Carol singing, we have a broad setlist of traditional carols with come Christmas pop songs in the mix. We also have an extensive list for recitals. Our sets are built from years of learning what works to ensure our audiences have a great time, but if you would like any requests, please let us know in advance.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Most of our gigs do not require additional equipment. However, if the venue space is particularly big, we may need additional sound equipment. Once we know the size of your venue and chat with you, we will be able to let you know of any changes to your quote.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Of course, our songs are guided by you! For weddings and funerals, we have a list of songs for inspiration, but if you don’t see what you would like, just let us know and we will learn your request. For carols and recitals, we have an extensive list of songs already but if you have any requests, we would be happy to add them into our current set lists.
