Cammy Anderton

Cameron is a freelance clarinettist, bassoonist and pianist. Taught by former bass clarinet of the BBC SO, Eleni Panaretou, and freelance bassoonists Rebecca Roberts and Grant MacKay. Cameron is now taught by professionals Yla Garvie and Lesley Wilson, former bassoon of the RSNO. He has played for many weddings and funerals. He also is a member of the Renfrewshire Symphony Orchestra & Concert band, as well as the WSSO Trust, for which he play as clarinet and bass clarinet for both. Cameron has toured all over the UK as well as Europe (including Germany and Austria) with these ensembles. He sits as second chair bassoon in both the Learig SO and Grampian Concert Orchestra, as well as first of the University of Aberdeen Marischal Chamber Orchestra. He has done freelance bassoon work with both Glasgow Kelvin Ensemble and USSO. Cameron is also first clarinet of the Glasgow Philharmonia. Cameron is a very hard worker and never disappoints on the day of the performance. He wishes to move on to work with pit orchestras for theatre, ballet and opera.
