Hey, I’m Cam and performing music is my life. If you’re looking for some easy-listening music to set the mood for your dinner party, or some enjoyable songs that’ll get people involved and dancing at your event, I’ve got what you need. With 10+ years of experience in music, and having studied music at college and university, I have the songs, experience, and equipment to meet your requirements. I’ve spent the past few years growing my repertoire to an impressive size with songs from chart-favourites like Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, George Ezra, and James Arthur, along with some smaller or forgotten artists and songs. I performed my first show when I was 15 at the Sheppy’s Cider farm and have grown lots since then. After performing on stages, at festivals, in pubs and restaurants, for college proms, on a lorry, on the radio, in HMV’s all over the South, and regularly hosting a successful open mic night, I have accumulated the confidence and experience for any event. I have all my own equipment and 2 different setup sizes depending on the size of the venue and event. Also, should you wish to, I will be more than happy to lend you the microphone to make a speech, a toast, or just to thank your guests at the end. Everybody likes hearing from their host. I have 5 carefully crafted set lists for you to choose from. If you don’t like them, or if you would like to tailor them to your event, every song is interchangeable with something from my full song list which is available to read on my profile. Should you have any special requests that aren’t on there, I’d be happy to discuss that with you privately. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to contact me however works best for you. I’ll aim to get back to you within 24 hours and will do what I can to help and meet your needs through this process. All the best, Cam Chilcott

(Absolutely amazing guy) Cam is a solo acoustic performer who will adapt to anyone’s needs. We’ve hired him a couple times now for family BBQs we love the guitar, singing and he does a fantastic set. Would highly recommend booking him up, he is an all round entertainer and loves to interact with the guests. Thank you so much for making great memories with our family. The Sutherlands

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

In all my time performing, the one thing that has always been praised by my clients is my ability to interact with and use the audience in my shows. Whether I sing one line and you sing the next, or we all sing the chorus together to build atmosphere, I do my best to make everyone feel like they're a part of the show.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I've spent a long time performing in pubs and bars. I've hosted an open mic night every week for a year in a Greene King in Taunton, I performed for the TYCA Festival in 2020 which was all broadcasted online. I've been interviewed on radio stations, and also performed on stage at the Brigwater YMCA for 2022's Skate Festival. This is only a handful of my gigs

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

My main influencers from a young age have been Ed Sheeran (of course), James Arthur, Dean Lewis, James TW, James Blunt, John Mayer, Bruno Mars, Olly Murs, Coldplay, Harry Styles, etc. This is only a small selection of my biggest influencers.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

My most high profile show was The Bushcraft Show in Lutterworth. I did 2 years in a row there and was able to get the crowd on side, singing, and a handful were up at the front dancing too. The festival itself saw around 10,000 people across the weekend, but my set was to anywhere between 500-750 people.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be as flexible as possible to help you run your event smoothly. If your timings change, let me know ASAP and I'll do everything I can to make sure it'll still work. Be aware, any changes may vary the price. This can always be discussed as and when a situation arises.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, a Spotify playlist can be played through my speakers between sets. You must choose your desired playlist and send it to me via text, WhatsApp, or e-mail, and I will play it from my device. In areas with no Wifi or bad phone signal, I will require you to send me the playlist prior to event so I can download the songs.

How much time do you need to set up?

Typically, setup takes anywhere between 20-30 minutes. As long as I'm provided with 4 working electrical sockets, and a tidy space to set up.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes, you can pick songs from my list. I have a few ready made playlists to choose from and you can chop and change it how you like with any of the songs from my list. But you may only request up to 3 new songs for me to learn specially for your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely! I will have everything I need from spare microphones to extension leads.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in my list, there's still a chance I might already know it. But if it's something I don't yet know, I offer up to 3 requests per event - free of charge.
