We’re Calypso! A female-fronted four-piece all about filling dance floors, belting out feel-good anthems, and making sure nobody leaves before "just one more song." Serving up a feel-good mix of soul classics, pop bangers, disco grooves, and even some quirky takes on some of the biggest Drum n Bass hits, we’ll have your nan, your uni mates, and your flower girl dancing together before the first chorus is over. Expect powerhouse vocals, killer musicianship, plenty of energy, and a setlist packed with songs everyone knows and loves. From Motown magic and soulful singalongs to chart-topping pop hits and guilty pleasures, every performance is designed to keep the good times rolling from the first dance to the final encore. Whether you're celebrating in a grand country house, festival style in a tipi in a field, or your favourite local venue, Calypso will bring the soundtrack, the atmosphere, and the party. CALYPSO! You made our whole day! Mollie, You & the boys were a pleasure to deal with. Your acoustic set in the afternoon was great while we had dinner. The full band and Sax DJ set in the evening was exactly what we wanted. Thanks for keeping our dancefloor full and playing songs everyone could sing along to. We booked Calypso to play at our daughter’s wedding in May and they were Fabulous! They played a great mix of old and new and everyone was dancing and singing all night. We would recommend them to anyone thinking about booking, you won’t be disappointed!

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Of course! Unless she is unwell on the day of the gig. We do have a suitable cover should this be the case.

Do you have different line-up options?

We offer a variety of packages from acoustic afternoons to a 4 piece band to an Ibiza party set up.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We’re flexible! Don’t panic. If you can let us know as soon as you know your timings change, we can work with you!

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely! We will leave a playlist on inbetween our sets. If you’d like one of us to be on hand to handle requests, this can be added to a booking for £100.

How much time do you need to set up?

We normally required 90 minutes to set the whole band up. Sometimes we can squeeze this down if it’s an easy load in, however a good rule of thumb is 90 minutes. As soon as we’re set up, you have access to our PA system for playlists.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our setlists are made by knowing what works for most audiences. Of course send your requests through and we’ll aim to play as many as we can. However, we’ll always aim to please the whole room to create the best atmosphere possible for you.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

All of our PA and lighting is included in our quote. All we require from you is 2 plug sockets to run off and we can make everything run smoothly from there.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We’re happy to learn a first dance per booking. If we can’t make it work we will let you know as soon as possible. Generally speaking we won’t learn requests beyond our repertoire as it requires hours of practice and getting into a rehearsal space which unfortunately doesn’t get covered by the request fee.
