Calling Time

We’re a six-piece folk band rooted in traditional music, bringing together our own original songs with well-loved folk favourites and traditional tunes. Expect warm harmonies, lively instrumental playing and songs with a good story behind them — from thoughtful ballads to foot-stomping numbers that are made for a crowd. We also play ceilidhs, with lively dance tunes and calling to get everyone up and dancing, whether they’re seasoned dancers or complete beginners. We’re fully self-contained with our own PA and sound equipment, and can provide music for folk festivals, weddings, parties, community events and all kinds of gatherings. Traditional at heart, but with our own songs and a fresh live energy.
