Georgia was efficient and friendly from my first enquiry, explaining in detail the different options available. She also provided a contract between us for security for both of us. When the day of the ceilidh came in our local village hall, Georgia and 3 musicians set up and treated us to some music before the dancing began! They brought all their own equipment. Their manners was extremely professional, the music was stunning! Georgia was a patient caller who encouraged all levels of dance skill to join in. At least 3 guests had never been to a ceilidh before, one guest managed his first 2 ceilidh dances! We enjoyed seeing the smiles and feet tapping of those unable to dance. If you are planning a celebration I would definitely advise Call Me Ceilidh! All 60 people had a fantastic time and we have made some wonderful memories. Thank you Georgia!

We booked Call me Ceilidh for our wedding and it surpassed all our expectations! Georgia is amazing, her energy and enthusiasm is infectious and got pretty much all of our 140 guests dancing!! She explained the dances well and made it so fun and accessible to everyone. All our guests were buzzing afterwards. We also booked the DJ package which was equally brilliant. Couldn't recommend more!

Can you perform covers?

Yes, no problem. We have a range of modern covers we're happy to perform in addition to the traditional Ceilidh music.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our line-up is as follows: Traditional Band 2 Piece + caller: Guitar +1 melody plus caller. 3 Piece + caller: Guitar +2 melody plus caller. 5 Piece + caller: Guitar +2 melody plus caller, with bass and drums. Melody instruments: fiddle /accordion /pipes /banjo /flute Electronic Ceilidh (violin+DJ)

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. We aim to finish on time so if timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely! This is a popular request, and we’re pleased to offer this service for free. After the ceilidh if you’d like a DJ service, using a bigger PA and extra lights for up to three hours or until the venue closes, we provide this for an additional £375. Alternatively, you can choose our disco playlist option for £187.50.

How much time do you need to set up?

We arrive an 1 hour before the performance time. This gives us plenty of time to load, set up and soundcheck. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance.

Do you provide a caller?

Yes, we do! We have a fantastic caller as part of our ceilidh band, and we cater to Scottish, English, and Irish ceilidhs. We like to mix up the dances to suit people's abilities, the size of the room, and the level of fun everyone will have! Just let us know if you have any dance requests so we can adjust our dance list accordingly!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote. We usually require a minimum of two sockets to perform.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £50 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.
