He has a great knack for a tune with dynamic playing, ear catching words & an enthusiastic & compelling delivery, and you can hear how his writing has developed since that previous release. Generally he keeps arrangements as close as possible to his live sound, with tasteful supplements to add colour & distinction, but which however are not so vital that they can't be omitted when playing solo.

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I will not double book a specific day so timings are usually flexible within 24 hours of the original slot.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes of course! You can play your own playlist or I can prepare one prior.

How much time do you need to set up?

20 minutes for a solo performance with only guitar and vocals. Quick and easy!

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

I offer a range of genres for that reason, i'm happy to chat about which songs would work for the event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes everything is provided!

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Have a look through the set list to see if it's there. I will play up to three requested songs for an event should they fit my style of singing and playing.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

It tends to be the audience engagement between and during songs, i'll talk a lot and make people really involved to make them comfortable signing and dancing along! As well as this I like to keep performances high energy and interesting.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

It's easier to say which I haven't!! From supporting The SugarHill Gang and Busted on the main stage of Coventry's Godiva Festival to various radio shows and everything in between. I have vast experience in large crowded noisy pubs to coffee shops and outdoor festivals.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

A range too large to list, in terms of classic performers: Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens, The Kinks and of course the Beatles! More contemporary acts include: Oasis, The Coral, Gerry Cinnamon, Tallest Man on Earth, Gregory Allan Isakov and Brandi Carlisle

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Playing the main stage of Godiva Festival 2019, other acts included The Levellers, Feeder, Busted, Frank Iro, The Sugarhill Gang and The Selecter.
