The Caccini Duo comprises two of Brighton's finest string players, bringing you stunning sounds for your wedding or event. Highly experienced musicians who studied together at the Royal Academy of Music, Emily and Jess have performed for hundreds of events and shows across the UK between them and have recently joined together to offer a beautiful string duo. From Vivaldi to the Friends theme, Beethoven to Adele, they will set the tone and bring their classical expertise to the style you're looking for at your event.

Even though we had a wet start at our outside wedding ceremony- Emily and Jess where highly professional and friendly. They both had no problem changing their position (along with other guests) so that they where still able to play during our ceremony. The music kept the cheerful atmosphere going while our guests waited for the bridal party to arrive. I had lots of lovely compliments and comments from our guest during the day about how wonderful the music was. I cannot thank you both enough for being apart of our day! I would highly recommend Emily and Jess to anyone that is thinking of booking them for a wedding or special event. Many thanks ladies :)

Customer questions

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes! Besides our regular string duo, we can offer a solo cello or violin, a string trio or even quartet with our accomplished colleagues.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We have some flexibility within up to 30 minutes of the original times stated, but further changes might incur a re-quote of the fee.

How much time do you need to set up?

We arrive between 45 minutes and 1 hour before our start time to set up, get changed and liase with the venue staff and hosts.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes! You can highlight your favourites from our list and send it back to us, or even list the don't-plays that you would prefer not to hear. Alternatively, we can play a suitable list for you, in line with your preferred styles

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

We bring all equipment needed, except for the chairs. We would request two dining-style chairs without arms, for playing. If amplification has been requested we bring the PA and mics, though this may be at a small additional charge.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

We can learn up to three new pieces before the event. We can include one free new song arrangement, and each additional piece will be at an additional arranging and rehearsing fee of £35.
