Fabulous! CJ was great. He did a fantastic job and really made my 50th birthday party on Sat night. My guests loved him and he even made the effort to perform my favourite song, having never done it before - I loved it. He was self sufficient, just got on with everything without much help from me!! We very much enjoyed having CJ play at my 40th birthday. He called me a few days before the party to discuss the set up and my particular wishes. He kept me informed when he was a little late due to an accident on the M1...which was obviously out of his control. He played the piano & sung brilliantly and was friendly and charismatic and took requests. He had the whole party singing a rousing rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody (complete with a lyric sheet hand out for all) which was a highlight of a lovely day. Would definitely book again.

CJ was a dream to work with; with so much else to do with the party organising I had minimal contact with him, bless him but he handled it like a dream. Didn't get lost (like most of the guests); set himself up; and judged the day perfectly in terms of music and volume. I'd even thrown him a bit of a curveball request but he did it! Very happy and he was great with the guests too.

From the outset you got everyone on the dance floor, dancing and singing along with you, especially my 88 year old mum! Our guests are still talking about it now, it really made the night. Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Sure, no problem. But please note that if this service is required after the agreed performance times, there will be an additional charge.

How much time do you need to set up?

I like to allow an hour for this, though if timings are tight I can do it in 20-30 minutes.

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Yes, of course - as long as the piano is in working order and in tune, then I'm happy to play on it!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

I like to discuss this with you beforehand. I have a very large repertoire, and can generally adjust what I play to suit your particular tastes.

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Yes.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

With a little advance notice this is fine. For example, I'm often asked for a particular song for the first dance at a wedding. If I don't know it already, I'll learn it.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

My approachability, my flexibility and my ability to create a good party atmosphere at any event.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Everything from sitting-rooms to concert halls!

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Just too numerous to mention. I like good music. Period.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Probably the main stage at the Cambridge Folk Festival.
