About Lockstep Duo

Lockstep are an upbeat, mainstream acoustic pop duo currently based in the Northwest and Northeast, UK.

Providing live performances and background music, playing songs from 1960’s-present day. These songs are performed live as vocalists and multi instrumentalists with acoustic/electric guitar. As our repertoire is ever growing, we love to tailor our sets to suit the evenings at hand- always trying to put our own flare on songs and performances to make them one to remember. Chenai and Dean have known each other for five years in which we have played many gigs from the top of the Blackpool Tower to various Botanist venues around the North West. Both attended The University of Salford where we gained our degrees in Popular Music and Recording. As well as this we also both have our grade 8 in our specialist instruments of vocals and guitar. We both have a huge passion for performing and love to provide background music for everyone to enjoy and toe tap along to!

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes definitely!

How much time do you need to set up?

Can you roam around while you perform?

We will have to be stationary due to us both playing and having our mic stands but we can be set up wherever you like

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We love to tailor our sets to the event/evening at hand

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes, our PA and equipment is included in the quote

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £30 for this service to take into account rehearsal times
