The Buriensi Consort was founded during the COVID-19 pandemic to allow people who are unable to attend worship and concerts the opportunity to experience a little bit of normality during the festive season. The group consists of a number of professional singers based in Suffolk, all of whom share a passion for ensemble singing and music making to the very highest standard. For the foreseeable future, we intend to specialise in providing high quality pre-recorded music for use during the uncertain months ahead. Whether you are a church or a business looking for some musical magic, we can use our expertise to build your ideal virtual performance or service from the ground upwards – suitable for any occasion. We also offer choirs for weddings, funerals and special occasions throughout Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex.

The Buriensi Consort’s performances are excellent, with crisp articulation and sensitive dynamic control that enables every word to be heard. Their voices blend beautifully together and when recording in St Edmundsbury Cathedral they have the uncanny ability to make four voices sound like a much larger ensemble. I would highly recommend them.

We were delighted to be able to use the services of The Buriensi Consort to provide carols for our Benefice’s online Service of Nine Lessons and Carols in December 2020. The beautifully sung and recorded music added a very special and personal quality to the service (especially as the music had been recorded in our very own St Mary’s Church, Higham!). We were very grateful to William and his team for creating the service for us after we had provided him with the readings and prayers – their technical ability being far greater than ours! In addition we were very efficiently provided with a PDF copy of the service to send round to our congregation.
