Bristol Pops Orchestra

The Bristol Pops Orchestra consists of 7 to 10 professional musicians producing a full wall of sound as a back drop to all the classic floor filler hits from the 1960s to date. We specialise in Soul and Motown favourites (Four Tops, Supremes, Billy Ocean, Temptations, Martha Reeves and others) though our fabulous singers cover other popular artists such as Amy Winehouse, Dexy’s Midnight Runners, Andy Williams, Frankie Valli, Tina Turner, Madness and many more to keep every audience dancing and cavorting till they can’t dance no more! The band members are all very experienced musicians who have played at literally hundreds of wedding’s, music festivals, private party’s and Corporate events in Castles, on cruise ships, hotels, military bases and even shopping mall promotions. Audiences are greeted with the ‘wow factor’ and treated to the original and full sound that only a traditional brass section, multiple vocalists and a supporting funky, soulful rhythm section can produce. We are happy to help plan every detail of your special event (a virtual on line meeting is available) and we can provide interval music, a full PA and lighting system. (Don’t worry although we produce that unique big band sound, we can fit into regular stage spaces.)
