Bottled Beans

Bottled Beans formed in 2022 and is made up of multi-instrumentalists Martin John (vox, acoustic & bass guitar), David Picarra (acoustic and electric guitar) and DJ Alex B (keys and accordion). Martin John and David Picarra are both well established solo artists in their own rights who have performed at a wide range of events and in numerous bands. When Martin was on the look out for a duo he found that David lived just down the road. Something special was destined to take off. And by joining forces with DJ Alex B the trio was born. Alex's love of music knows no bounds: a resident DJ for many years who has also played accordion in a German folk band, naturally. When Martin, David and Alex joined forces there was no looking back. Bottled Beans was born. Bottled Beans play a wide range of singalong, floor-filling hits from the 50s to present day. A standard set consists of songs like American Pie, Sweet Caroline, Livin' On A Prayer, Teenage Dirtbag, Saw Her Standing There, Shut Up And Dance, Mr Brightside, Angels and much much more! What sets them apart is their desire for audience participation: getting the audience involved with singalongs, inviting member of the audience to join the band as percussionists and even as additional vocalists! Also, the band plays a range of unique medleys which take the audience on a fast paced journey through a wide range of hits... ever heard Smells Like Teen Spirit, Cotton Eyed Joe and Barbie Girl blended into one?.. well, we'll show you it can be done!
