Bossa As usual is A 4 piece Bossa Nova Band . We have Jo Monks singing , Julia Farrants on the Cello and a Really Grooving Rhythm Sevtion with Stuart Robinson on Guitar and Mark Tatterstall on Drums . We can be oerfect for dancers or for a laid back chilled vibe .We add warmth to all Occasions . Our repertoire is based on Brazilian music especially the wonderful Jobim repertoire . We have studied this Brazilian music and can offer an authentic feel with the sonorous cello to contribute depth to a traditional Bossa Nova line up . Jo has been singing Bossa Nova for twenty years , Stuart has been playing it for 30 years and has studied in Brazil . Julia has been playing since the age of seven but turned to Jazz and improvising in the last decade , playing and touring in Jazz Manouche until finding that Bossa Nova suits the sonorous cello so much better .
