Borders Acoustic Duo brings together the talents of guitarist and songwriter Callum Granger and lead vocalist Faith Scruton White, merging folk and blues into a bold Americana sound. Callum, who also provides harmonies and backing vocals, has been gigging as a solo artist for years. Playing guitar since age 10, he’s influenced by a wide variety of players across genres—from rock and blues to folk, country, and gypsy jazz. His passion for music led him to study at ACM Guildford, where he met Faith. Faith, originally from Gibraltar, moved to the UK in 2016. A trained vocalist, she draws inspiration from musical theatre and powerhouse female vocalists of the 80s and 90s. She also performs and arranges for the acapella group Vocal Shack, with whom she appeared in the 2023 ASDA Christmas advert directed by Taika Waititi. Together, Borders Acoustic Duo has become a notable act in the London music scene, performing at festivals and venues such as Trinity Folk Festival, Fosstival, and Vann Festival. They recorded at Metropolis Studios, releasing the EP Carolina Moon in 2017 and the album No One Else in 2018, both available on major streaming platforms. Their music has received airplay on BBC Introducing South, BBC Radio Sussex, BBC Radio Surrey, and various digital Folk and Country stations. With deep-rooted Americana influences and a captivating on-stage presence, Borders Acoustic Duo delivers a powerful live experience, resonating with audiences from intimate venues to larger festivals.
