Five, four or three piece ensemble playing classic Motown and Soul tracks with an authentic look and feel.
BoogieShoes: Motown and Soul perform covers of the classic Motown and Soul tracks that everyone knows. With the use of digital backing tracks, this five piece act can faithfully reproduce the sounds of much larger bands and can also perform as a three or four piece act without foregoing any of the pitfalls of losing a key instrument. With outstanding vocals from the well known Candy Spangles, backing from Magic Jenny and Pete Manzini, the band chooses to dress in era specific clothing so the performance has extra authenticity. With extensive lighting and a state of the art PA system and equipment, BoogieShoes: Motown and Soul have been playing together for a number of years delighting audiences across the Midlands region. For performances where volume is likely to be an issue, the band are able to provide electronic drums to ensure that sound levels are kept low, and with professional management are flexible in their approach to managing the performance.
