About Blair Chadwick

Solo acoustic or full band; I am a fun, vibrant performer with a vast repertoire. You and your guests are guaranteed a brilliant event!
Singing guitarist

Public liability insurance of £10 million
Verified profile

I left home at 17 to be a rock star and have been writing, recording, playing originals and covers ever since. I have recorded three albums and been lucky enough to play with Stiff Records legendary artist Wreckless Eric, Keith Floyd (the first and only true rock and roll chef) and recently played to over 2000 people for the late Queen’s Jubilee Celebrations. A vibrant, fun front man, the only thing I love more than a good guitar solo is the sound of the crowd singing. I can be booked as a solo performer or with my band: BLAIR AND THE BULLETS, the Southwest's most exciting wedding and function band. The band are an explosive three piece with an extensive repertoire that will keep your dance floor jumping all night. Solo or as a band I will guarantee to get your party started and going all night.

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Fun, joyous, professional, friendly, easy to get on with. A have a song for everyone. I love people singing along and I love to work the room!

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have played lots of great places in London, sold out venues in Bath and Bristol, toured throughout Ireland for my original music and even sang with celebrities, I cant tell you who unfortunately ;-)

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I am student, fan and lover of great music. From the Stones and Beatles to Oasis and Blur, Muse, Erasure, Pet Shop Boys, Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Amy Winehouse, Adele, Bob Dylan... the list goes on for a very long time

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I headlined recently to over 2000 people at the Bridwell Estate for the Queen's Jubilee. Playing the national anthem behind my head with lots of distortion before the fireworks was a career highlight!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Just let me know and I'll always try to accommodate. As long as I get enough notice to make changes before taking more bookings on the same day that may clash, I'll endeavor to make it work!

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and I can actually offer this service for free in between sets when I am playing. If you'd like a DJ service via our PA after the final set until the venue closes, I can provide this for a negotiated fee with you.

How much time do you need to set up?

45 minutes would be great.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Happy to accommodate some of your favourite choices, I have been performing for a long time and I know what songs work well together and in what order. If you have a song or two that mean a lot to you let me know and we can look to work them into my set for the best night of live music for you.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, guitars, mics, leads, speakers etc, all provided by me, please just supply the working plug sockets!

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If a song isn't included in my song list there may still be a chance I already know it. If there is a special song you'd like me to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £30 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc

Absolutely brilliant, I would totally recommend Blair for any event! I booked Blair for my husband's 40th birthday party. He learnt my husband's favourite song (Ryan Adam's Come pick up) and played a brilliant evening of music that had everybody singing and dancing. Really professional, easy to deal with and super friendly. I will definitely book him again and have recommended him to all my friends.

To celebrate my 20th year anniversary to my beautiful wife Sarah I hired Blair to play for us both and our 50 guests. He was absolutely first class. He played so many great songs that were full of memories for both of us. BRILLIANT AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
