We've finally come back down to earth after all the celebrations and clear up etc and I just want to say a massive thanks to you and the band for Saturday night. We were told by multiple people that it was 'the best ceilidh ever'! I think the fact that the dance floor was so packed the entire ceilidh was testament to how much everyone was enjoying themselves. Really appreciate all that you did, it really made the night. There were several ceilidh newbies who are total converts now, so I think that proves the success...

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

- Open, welcoming and inclusive. - Dances and sets tailored to audience. - Experience playing for all ages and levels. - Fun and friendly atmosphere. - High quality of musicianship. - Professional service. - Reliable.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Kingsmills Hotel, Eden Court Theatre, Lochardil Hotel, Bogbain Farm, Glen Mhor Hotel, Drumossie Hotel, Loch Ness Country House Hotel, Culloden House Hotel, Columba Hotel, Corriegarth Hotel; Clava Mains, Ben Wyvis Hotel, Spa Pavilion, Black Isle Yurts; Boat of Garten Hall, Loch Insch, National Hotel, Tulloch Castle, Gairloch Sands, Brodie Castle, WASP Academy

Can you perform covers?

We are primarily a traditional ceilidh dance band. If your guests would like a rest between dances, we can perform some Scottish and Irish songs and some contemporary folk numbers from bands like the Waterboys. If you are looking for more modern covers with ceilidh thrown in, I'd recommend The Cavemen.

Do you have different line-up options?

We occasionally use piano backing instead of guitar and will let you know if this is the case.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free. If you'd like a DJ service via our PA after the final set for up to 2 hours, we can provide this at an additional charge.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 hour before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Do you provide a caller?

Yes we do! We have a very experienced caller as part of our ceilidh band to ensure that everyone can join in.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA) included in your quote?

Our PA system is included in your quote. We would require a minimum space of 5 x 3m and an electricity source. Additionally, we require three chairs for the band, and a small table or something similar to place our mixing desk.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If you have a request for a song to be performed, for example for a first dance, there may be a chance we already know it, or we may be able to learn it depending on its complexity and suiting the band's style. Alternatively, if you have a recording on a device, we can play it through our PA.
