Customer questions
Do you have different line-up options?
We usually play as a 7-piece band (trumpet, sax, guitar, banjo, piano, tuba, percussion) but if space is limited, we can reduce down to a 5-piece band.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
We can provide recorded music before our set (as we are setting up) and between sets.
How much time do you need to set up?
We usually set up around an hour before the event but this can be done more quickly if necessary.
Can you roam around while you perform?
As we are a traditional style dixie group, we have some instruments (piano and guitar) that would not work well roaming around so we always sit for our performances.
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
We carefully choose out set list from our experience of what works best at certain events but we are more than happy for you to have some input and choose some of the music.
Can you learn song requests before the event?
If a song isn't on out set list, we can usually add it to our performance. As most of our music is improvised, we can do this quite easily. We will need to know a week or so in advance so we can find the lead sheets.
