Billy Edinson is a professional solo performer, with 10 years experience playing at weddings, functions and events all over the country. He is fully self-contained, playing an array of covers from all eras and all genres, building a bespoke song repertoire for each individual client. His past experience features a recording contract with First Access Entertainment, and he is a published brit-nominated songwriter (Reservoir Media) with songwriting cuts including Christina Aguilera ("Loyal, Brave and True," from the movie Mulan), KSI ("Thick of it,' featuring Trippie Redd), Conor Maynard ("What I Put You Through,") and more. He has experience playing live, at festivals from Boardmasters to the Great Escape and more.

I hired Billy for a marriage proposal. Billy was fantastic on the night and made it that extra bit special. Billy did a fantastic job at my dad's funeral reception, and really added to the day. Very hard to get the right balance for such an event, but he was spot on. A great vocalist and musician, would not hesitate in using him again.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I blend a setlist with songs from all genres and all eras, from soul to pop, upbeat classics to downbeat ballads. With all of the experience I have, I adapt during performance to make sure that the crowd get exactly what they are after!

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed at festivals such as Boardmasters, The Great Escape, Dot to Dot, at venues all over the UK on supports tours, and my own headline shows. Alongside this I have performed at hundreds of weddings, events and corporate events.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I have been most influenced by Amy Winehouse, Ed Sheehan, Bob Dylan, Billy Joel, Ben E King and Aretha Franklin.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

That would have to be Boardmasters festival, in Newquay Cornwall. It was a big crowd, and amazing set up and a great time!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

No worries at all! We can speak and make sure all runs smoothly and well.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely, I have a fantastic PA with a high level sound and can create playlists to fit your event.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually arrive at least 1 hour before the performance time to make sure that set up is smooth and efficient. I pride myself on making sure I am early so that I can give you the best version of myself and the best performance.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes! Absolutely. It is your big day or your event, so I love to collaborate with clients so that they get to hear the songs that they like.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, I bring everything that is needed. I am fully self contained so I have all of the equipment, along with back ups too!

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes, I can absolutely learn new songs!
