Beth Merill has been living in the Herts, Beds & Bucks area most of her life & enjoys using her gift as a singer/songwriter & cover artist to bring joy to peoples lives. Her voice has a soft contemporary edge & can mould to different pop/rock/jazz & country styles. Beth regularly goes busking in the local region and is used to singing at public and private events. She aims to spread joy and positivity through the songs she sings and her hope is that everyone has a great time and enjoys themselves no matter what the occasion.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

My diverse range of songs in each set list and how I cater to all generations with an eclectic mix of multiple genres and classics from each musical decade. Customers also enjoy hearing me sing rock/pop anthems using my stronger voice as well as stripped back Jazz numbers with my softer vocal tone.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Singing in HMV was quite high profile for me as a music artist and being featured across their social media pages nationwide along with several other artists who were chosen for a special store event celebrating national album day.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

That's fine, if the date has changed completely then please let me know at least 1 or 2 weeks in advance just so I can plan ahead as I am very flexible. If you solely change the time, please let me know 1/2 days beforehand as I may need to rearrange the structure of the day if it is in the afternoon or evening or if I'm travelling.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I'm not a DJ, however I do have playlists full of party songs that can easily be connected to my amp via bluetooth to create that atmosphere if needed. If you require me to stay for up to an hour after the venue closes for the use of my time playing phone music, then I charge an additional £50.

How much time do you need to set up?

30 minutes to 1 hour. Depending on the venue, whether I need to sound check and the event time allowance provided per artist.

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Absolutely, I can play acoustically or with a plug in keyboard. It will need to have the correct inputs and channels needed for my computer to sync up with my sound software and it works then I'm happy to do so, otherwise just a normal amp plug in will be fine.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Of course, If you'd like a free 20 minute zoom consultation this is included in the booking price so I'm more than happy to discuss your setlist requirements in further details regarding your event.

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Yes, I will always bring my own keyboard and have the correct equipment needed.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Absolutely, if you wished to have a free 20 zoom consultation with me regarding your song preferences to discuss in further detail then this is included in the booking fee.
