What do your clients love most about your performances?
My clients often admire my set list and song choices. They enjoy my rapport with the audience or alternatively my ability to blend seamlessly into the background atmosphere.
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
I have performed at a large scale of venues, from festivals, pubs and restaurants to wedding venues to more corporate spaces. I have performed in large spaces like guildhalls all the way to tiny little cafe style venues.
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
I am a millennial raised by boomer parents so my influences range from the 70s all the way to current music tastes. Joni Mitchell, Fleetwood Mac (in fact my mums cousin was in the original Fleetwood Mac), Amy Winehouse, Lauryn Hill, H.E.R and many other influences. I have been compared to Lily Allen and Kate Nash many times over the years.
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
Isle of Wight Festival, Victorious Festival & other large scale events. With audiences up to around 1,500 in scale.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
If you think this is likely to happen before you’ve booked, just let me know and I’ll do my best to make sure I keep the specific date free until closer to the time to allow for adjustments. If this is something that happens without much notice, please reach out to contact me as soon as possible.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
I can provide an “iPod” service before sets, but this must be requested and agreed when booking and may carry additional charges up to £100. Music between sets must be requested and has no additional charges.
How much time do you need to set up?
I usually take around 30 minutes to set up, depending on the distance between parking and venue. I can set up early, or just before the set, depending on requirements, please let me know what you’d need and suitable arrangements will be made.
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
My songlist has 400 songs and has been curated from years of experience to be switched up to suit the environment. I work on a “read the room” basis for most gigs, unless otherwise specified. You can let me know in advance the kind of vibes that you prefer.
Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?
I absolutely do. Full PA and acoustic guitar. I have a 15m extension lead, so the only thing you need to let me know is if I would need a longer one. When outside, power must be provided.
Can you learn song requests before the event?
I am willing to learn up to 4 song requests for all events, when reasonable. please feel free to look through my songlist for requests, or reach out to find out if I am able to perform any songs not currently on the list.
