Beth

Beth Wischhusen, Hertfordshire, studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, under the tuition of Kathryn Harries and Mary Hammond. Singing from a young age, Beth has always been passionate about not only performing, but all aspects of singing, including the psychological and biological side, which has led to a recent study and published article into trauma and performance anxiety. Beth was a member of the BBC National Chorus of Wales with other projects including the roles of 'Rapunzel' in Barn Theatres’ production of Into the Woods; 'Cathy' in The Last Five Years; 'Suki Tawdry' in Opera Ddraigs’ The Beggar’s Opera and 'Ida' in their production of 'Die Fledermaus’; 'Sue Klebold' in Micheal Lowes’ new production of Columbine. Beth has a love of chamber music and has been collaborating closely with Guitarist George Robinson since 2016, performing in concerts across the UK; most notably as a finalists for two years running in the McGrenery Chamber Music prize. Since Graduating Beth has performed in multiple Private concerts, performed on board the Silversea’s 5 Star cruise line, performing a range of different repertoire across the Mediterranean. Other recent engagements include the “Scenaria” Online summer Festival, "The Best of British Musicals" Online concert and performing the role of “Venus” in Oxford contemporary opera’s production of “emele”.
