Packages

An hour at the venue, this is the standard for a ceremony, if you want me to play whilst you walk in and out, also for the signing of the register, normally it takes about an hour. For that there's normally a bit of time for me to entertain your lovely guests with some gorgeous music before you arrive.

Duo
This Is for a duo, either harp, violin, or piano along with me, a 'cellist per hour. It's especially good if you've got a little extra in the budget and you want to have a really special sound for something magical like Pachelbell's canon.

the whole thing
This is for 4 hours of wedding playing, this is for when you want a solo cellist to play for the ceremony, the drinks, the photographs and a little bit either side! It's a great package that whilst is more a little more expensive, gives you total peace of mind that no matter what happens with the timings of the day, your musician will be there at the ready.

Do you have different line-up options?
Yes, we are flexible between instruments.
Line-up options include:
string quartet/trio/duo

What if my timings change after I've booked you?
That shouldn't be a problem so long as you let us know as soon as you can.. normally we will be flexible enough to change, and if not we'd let you know straight away.
How much time do you need to set up?
No long! 15 minutes is all we really need. :)
Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?
Yes, although our playlist is quite extensive, and it's not all on encore.. in our experience we find it best to give us a few requests and leave the rest to us :)
Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?
Of course! Unless you want to provide us with a cup of tea, we have everything we need! You can relax ..!
Can you learn specific pieces before the event?
Given enough, for sure! Normally if the piece is a special request and we don't have it already, we do charge the cost of the music to buy. This is normally about £15.
What do your clients love most about your performances?
We always get comments about how happy we look to be playing together! Probably because we are!!! We love playing and I think it really comes across:)

Which artists have you been most influenced by?
Mmm... Tricky one, there are a lot, but the ones that have really stuck are Vivaldi & Monteverdi -
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
I'm not really into "high profile" - every gig is as important as every other. From the Sheldonian theatre to Fulford village hall... When we perform, we try to contribute to the environment, not the other way around :)
