About Ben 'n' Jeanie

Hi. We're Ben on guitar and Jeanie on vocals and we play the best in good old fashioned jazz from the Great American Songbook.
Jazz duo
Public liability insurance of £10 million

We're both from Nottingham and have been gigging together in different bands for quite a few years. Ben is also a professional saxophonist (check out his Ben Martin Jazz page on Encore) and Jeanie also plays piano and writes her own songs. Jeanie put together a Doris Day show which played guitar and saxophone in and they're hoping to get that running again sometime soon. For this project we wanted to keep it simple. A classic jazz duo just right for those intimate gigs where you want to be entertained and but not overwhelmed. Of course if you do want a bit more oomph we can add double bass, piano, drums, trumpet and Ben can switch to saxophone. We will get some videos done of the bigger line up as soon as possible.
