Guitarist

London

Public liability insurance of £10 million

Inspired to pick up the guitar aged eight after being introduced to the sound of Jimi Hendrix by one of his teachers, Ben quickly developed an instinctual love for the instrument. In his early career, Ben recorded albums and toured the world with singer song-writer Cosmo Pyke. He went on to work and perform for Loie and is currently running playback and performing with up & coming artist Konyikeh. After developing a love for Jazz & Fusion from a young age, Ben has since performed and recorded with the likes of much-feted American pianist Greg Spero (Spirit Fingers) whose show at the Jazz Cafe back in January was sold out, steel pan virtuoso Leon Foster Thomas, drummer prodigy LOX (a regular at Ronnie Scott's) and London supergroup Cityscape Ensemble. Featured in Jazz Wise Magazine this year after performing at the Vortex with Steel Pannist Leon Foster Thomas, Kevin Le Gendre writes.. 'Guitarist Ben Glasser is also very impactful, whether dampening notes to bring a funk-rock thickness to the ensemble sound or filling solos with relaxed, expressive riffs that have a slight Scofield echo' Ben also runs his own international wedding band called Blue Flame Band. He's taken Blue Flame out to Mallorca, France, Sicily and Tuscany multiple times in the last few years for high end luxury weddings. He's well versed in tour managing, organising itineraries, maintaining client relationships and is an experienced driver both in the UK and abroad.
