What if my timings change after I've booked you?
I will always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know.”
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
Absolutely. This is a really popular request and I actually offer this service for free. I can select music based on your requests for my performance or you can provide your own playlist and I will play this through my PA system.
How much time do you need to set up?
I usually aim to arrive about 1 hour before the performance time. This provides ample time to get set up and get comfortable. As soon as my PA is set up I can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for the live performance!”
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
Of course. I have built up a very extensive list of songs over the years and I am happy to create a custom setlist for the evening based on your choices. I recommend selecting at least 20 songs per 45 minute set.
Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?
Yes. I will provide all of the equipment I need to complete the booking.
Can you learn song requests before the event?
If a song isn't included in my song list there may still be a chance I already know it. If there is a special song you'd like me to learn prior to your event then I would be happy to do this for you. Please note that there may be an additional charge for this service.
What do your clients love most about your performances?
Clients love my wide range of song choices and the ability to take requests on the night. Over the years I have developed a knack for sensing the mood that each event requires and altering my setlist to achieve the desired atmosphere.
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
I have performed at hundreds of venues all across the UK. These include pubs and clubs, hotels, restaurants, castles, Stately homes, Festival sites and more.
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
I love music. I listen to a wide range of music from all sorts of genres dating from the 1920s to present day. Somedays I will listen to pop and rock, the next I could be listening to country and folk. There really is no genre which I haven't enjoyed at some point of my life.
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
The most high profile events I have performed at have been VIP showcases, charity events and awards nights featuring celebrities from all walks of life. These have included premiership footballers, artists, celebrity chefs, boxers and many more.
