Ben & Seb’s Jazzy Tunes, are a fresh young duo, born out of two best friends and their love for Jazz/Bossa influenced music. Performing an array of Pop covers approached from a Jazz/Bossa Nova perspective, as well as traditional Jazz standards, Ben and Sebastian deliver a smooth and entertaining showcase that’s perfect for any function or event. Their captivating live shows marry expressive keys with delicate, warm guitar playing topped off with smooth contemporary vocals. The duo have been performing in multiple projects for years, taking to stages transcontinentally at SXSW (Texas), Latitude, LAYLOW, Casa Da Musica (Oporto), Korzeni (Buenos Aires). Their individual ventures, as ‘PORTEOUS’ and ‘Sebastian Mayor’, have had their own successes accumulating over 400,000 streams on Spotify alone over the last year. Their friendship and passion for Jazz and Bossa Nova is brought to their live shows which present high musicianship and chemistry on stage.

I was worried about them getting here because our location is quite remote. However they made it early to prepare everything before everyone arrived, which I very much appreciated. My husband and I had asked for them to play our favourite song “Uptown Girl” in a Jazz style, which they did perfectly! The sound check took a while because our sound engineer was not very experienced, but Ben and Seb made it work just in time for dinner, which is when we had them play. This worked very well because everyone could still talk without feeling like they were competing with the band for volume, which sometimes happens with other bands…

Perfect mediterranean feel for my sister’s wedding! We had them on at sunset and the atmosphere was great. We even requested some 70’s songs that weren’t on the list for a slow dance moment; that was the loveliest part. Thank you Ben and Seb!
