Beached Brass play a variety of upbeat, shoe tapping songs from the tradiational New Orleans repertoire through to modern funk and well known popular songs. Having played througout their native Brighton and the wider South East region, Beached Brass have appeared at numerous shows, fesitvals and clubs as well as for scores of weddings, parties, corporate functions and yes, a few funerals too. Available in a variety of sizes and formats that band is flexible in it's approach ensuring that you will get the authentic New Orleans street music experince to suit you and your specific needs on the day.

Loved having Beached Brass play at our wedding! It was such an incredible day and the band provided the ultimate feel-good soundtrack to it all. Great vibes right from start and it immediately had everyone up dancing - I can't recommend these guys enough! Also extremely glad I went for the full complement of musicians because you can't beat that full, New Orleans brass band sound - took me and my partner right back to a holiday we once had there. Perfect - thanks, Beached Brass!!

So glad you enjoyed us playing Michelle. We had great fun marching the wedding couple to the party hall and starting the party with some New Orleans tunes!

Had these guys down at The Mesmerist in Brighton - really great night and got the crowd jumping!

My dear old Bill wanted a traditional New Orleans send off, god bless him. When the time came for the funeral we had a beautiful horse drawn black carridge and the guys from Beached Brass did a wonderful job playing a slow funeral tune that half way through turned into a joyful noise! Just like they do in the movies - amazing Thank you!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We can play music through an amplifier+ phone for an additonal £100

How much time do you need to set up?

10 -15 mins

Can you roam around while you perform?

Yes! We are a street marching band so roaming is no problmem.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes - always from the set list or we can do bespoke songs (price on enquiry)

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If the song is a jazz standard then it is FREE! If we need to specially arrange it then get in touch for a price.
