We saw Barry and the Crumpets at the Mesmerist and we were hooked. Chaz (the frontman) is super talented as well as having a great ability to read the crowd. His music is versatile and it attracts people of all ages and musical tastes. More importantly the quality of the music and the arrangements are fantastic. I will certainly follow Chaz and his bands as they are a type of medicine for the soul.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Energy! We always bring high energy to our performances, bouncing off of each other and more importantly, you and the crowd! With the addition of crowd interaction and groovy dancing, we bring the true party feeling to you.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Love Supreme Jazz Festival, Womad Festival, Monkey Island Estate, Pywell House, Farleigh Hungerfood Manor, Boardmasters Festival, Rock Oyster Festival, Beautiful Days Festival, many other countless beautiful wedding venues and of course delightful local venues.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

James Brown, Nile Rodgers, Ian Dury, Maceo Parker, Otis Reading, The Beatles, many more!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Supporting Nile Rodger and Chic and Rock Oyster Festival 2023

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Yes, the lead vocalist (with the curly hair) will always be in the lineup.

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes, we can range from a 4 to a 7 piece. Our default lineup is Trumpet/Cornet, Guitar, Bass and Drums, but the sound is further amplified with the addition of Trombone, Saxophone and/or Piano.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Please let us know at your earliest convenience, and we will try to make things work for you.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, we provide this service for free in between sets, and can provide music through our PA as a DJ service after our set for an additional £100 an hour.

How much time do you need to set up?

We can generally set up in less than 30 minutes. We tend to arrive no less than an hour before required.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes, any songs from our set list can be selected to personalise your specific set.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes, that’s all included in our quote. Please just note we require access to power.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If we don’t know a song you’d like us to play, we can happily learn it for you. There is a fee of £40 to account for rehearsal times.
