I am a London based guitarist. I first started playing because my dad played guitar. He taught a bit about finger picking. I also learnt things off a few other people, as well as teaching things to myself. I decided to do the classical guitar grades, so switched from playing steel guitar to classical/nylon strung guitars. After completing the grade 8 ABRSM classical guitar grades, I decided I wanted to learn new things, and eventually discovered a wonderful Flamenco guitarist who I began to study Flamenco guitar with. I continue to see him. So I play a mix of classical & Flamenco techniques. I enjoy playing melodies and soft tones, with a rhythmic drive, and creating an ambient atmosphere without being obtrusive.
