Band Salsa takes inspiration from London’s popular night out, Bar Salsa, where couples and friends come together to have cocktails and learn some latin dance moves ahead of the DJ spinning some latin beats later on for everyone to put their lessons into practice. With this in mind, through Band Salsa, you can recreate this popular night, and book a dance instructor for your drinks reception who will show your guests the best latin steps to enhance your dancefloor with your guests busting out their spicy new moves. Meet Band Salsa’s dynamic duo of vocalists, Noëlle and Emma, who bring a fresh wave of creativity and passion to the stage. Noëlle, a versatile singer-songwriter with French and Spanish roots, captivates audiences with her multilingual lyrics and jaw dropping vocals. From enchanting performances at prestigious venues in Spain to winning songwriting competitions, Noëlle's journey is a testament to her unwavering dedication to music. In 2020, Noëlle embarked on a new chapter by enrolling at the British and Irish Modern Institute (BIMM). Her time at BIMM opened doors to performing at various London venues. Her unique ability to write songs in three different languages provided her with opportunities to participate in writing sessions at Metropolis studios and the iconic BBC studios in Maida Vale. Noëlle has also co-written a track for the second season of the Netflix show 'Bienvenidos a Eden’! Meanwhile, Emma infuses her performances with infectious energy and soulful melodies. With a string of successful singles under her belt and a knack for delivering captivating live shows, Emma's star continues to rise on both local and international stages. Supporting the likes of Caoi De Barra, performed alongside Robert Grace for iRadio’s iLoveIrish Live, supported Lyra in the INEC Club, opened for True Tides in Mike The Pies & supported Skinny Living at The Soundhouse. Together, Noëlle and Emma form a soulful duo that promises to deliver unforgettable performances and leave audiences wanting more. Noëlle and Emma are backed by the wonderful talents of our bassist Marco, whose groovy basslines provide the heartbeat of our music. Alongside him, Jose brings the infectious rhythms on guitar, while Colin injects soulful melodies with his trumpet. Adding depth and flair to our sound, Allexa mesmerizes on the saxophone, creating captivating harmonies. And holding it all together with impeccable timing and energy is dynamic drummer, Lya, whose multicultural background infuses our music with diverse influences from Latin to Rock, Afro-beat to NeoSoul, and everything in between. Lya's extensive experience spans from playing at iconic venues like the Barbican Centre to TV appearances on shows like ‘Later... with Jools Holland’ and the MTV Europe Music Awards. Together, this sensational 7-piece band delivers a powerhouse of Latin, Commercial Latin, Dance, and soulful tunes that promise an unforgettable musical experience for all. Band Salsa welcomes you to tailor the setlist for your big day. For a standard 2x60mins or 3x40mins performance you can select up to 32 songs from the humongous band’s 700+ song repertoire, and the band will endeavour to accommodate all of your requests, given a month’s notice. For short notice bookings, you are still very welcome to send over your suggestions, and as always, the band will do their utmost to accommodate as many requests as possible. Band Salsa is also very happy to learn an ‘off the menu’ song request for you, for example, a first dance or your favourite song. For those who have smaller spaces, Band Salsa can also deliver their red hot performance in a 5-piece lineup with lead vocal, guitar, bass, drums, and saxophone. Upon booking, you will have a dedicated band manager as your point of contact to ensure the band is 100% on the same page as you well in advance of your event. Having this point of contact means you can count on excellent, fast, friendly, and warm communication at all times. It also means that come the big day every single crease will be ironed out and it will mean smooth sailing for both client and band alike. All in all, Band Salsa’s band members are a very friendly and flexible bunch and take great pride in providing excellent musicianship and creating a really fun atmosphere wherever they go. The band has a big long list of songs spanning different genres and decades for you to pick from and can play complimentary playlist music (which you are welcome to tailor) before, in-between, and after live sets until curfew. The band can be on-site for up to 7 hours, or until midnight as standard. They are happy to accommodate early arrivals before 5pm and late stays after midnight if needed too. The band is also able to provide a band member DJ-ing should you wish to have a live DJ before, between, or after band sets. The band brings a full PA and lighting rig with them wherever they go, so all you need to do is book the band and you can tick the entertainment off your to-do list in one fell swoop because Band Salsa will have you covered.
