Growing up on an estate in Lincolnshire as the only Mixed Jamaican / British kid, I found it impossible to fit in. Music became my whole hearted passion when I was 15, my mother passed away, and I threw myself into songwriting as a way to process and heal. I had grown up listening to Bob Marley on repeat and the messages in his music had alway resonated with me deeply. Today, I'm 23, I do a lot of Bob Marley songs and originals.
