About Babette Babette’s passion for the performing arts began at an early age when she was inspired by her father’s career as a cabaret agent and entertainer. She began singing around the home and went on to have private singing lessons at school. That was it she had caught the performing bug and decided to pursue a career in show business. Babette went on to study Musical Theatre, TV Presenting and TV Acting at various theatre training schools and performed at the The Royal Albert Hall, The London Palladium and Saddlers Wells as part of a singing dance troupe. Over the years, Babette has worked with a variety of professional companies on many exciting productions, including pantomimes, musicals, plays, variety shows, cabaret, UK Tours, children’s theatre and TV. This has allowed her to become a confident and versatile actress. 4 years ago, Babette joined the entertainment company “Emerald Kitty Entertainment” as part of their resident entertainment team, taking on the character of “Emerald Kitty”. A feisty, fun loving and flirty cabaret entertainer who now comperes and sings in all of there shows. Babette has also recently taken over as Entertainment Manager, taking charge of all upcoming productions and hunting down new talent. Babette is currently also working for “Wish Upon A Party” as a Children’s Entertainer, “Mad Science” as a Children’s Presenter, “Drama Impact” as an Actress and touring the UK with Cats Pyjamas Productions as a singer/actress. She can also be seen singing with funk & soul covers band “360”, The 505 Blues Brothers Tribute Band and performing her own 60’s cabaret tribute show “Be My Baby”. Be My Baby “Be My Baby” is a swinging sixties tribute show designed to take you on a trip down memory lane.
