-“Absolutely stunning and very moving” -“A truly magical experience!” Aylesbury Consort of Voices is a highly accomplished semi-professional choir of 16 members performing music from the sixteenth century to the present day. Conducted by leading vocal specialist, educator and performer Edwin Pitt Mansfield, the repertoire ranges from the renaissance through to contemporary pieces as well as jazz classics. We have extensive experience of providing a choir for a range of settings including fundraisers, concerts, private events, weddings, and special church services. We would be delighted to work together with you to come up with the most suitable repertoire to make your special occasion truly memorable. Some recent feedback on our performances; “…again you bring the sophistication and elegance to the service” Sue C, St Mary’s Aylesbury 2025 “Thank you all for much for a really wonderful concert last night, everyone so enjoyed it and we thought the programme was perfect. “What a fantastic choir. From an audience member’s point of view, the sound was exquisite, the choir was friendly, programme full of nice details, and the music choice was on point. From a concert manager’s point of view, this is a professional outfit which took on themselves all the hard work, making my job so easy! One of the best choirs we’ve hosted on every level”

Customer questions

Do you have different line-up options?

We usually are around 12-16 singers plus our Conductor. Occasionally we have a pianist for accompanied music, in which case this additional cost will be factored into the fee.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We can be flexible and understand if things may change.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

No not usually.

How much time do you need to set up?

We like to have a short rehearsal to check for balance and acoustic and to warm up to be ready about an hour before the performance - but this is flexible depending on requirements.

Can you roam around while you perform?

We tend not to move around while singing.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We can provide a set list of suitable repertoire for your event but are more than happy to discuss personal requirements and alternative suggestions with you.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

We sing unaccompanied and without amplification so there is no further equipment required. We'll need a space sufficient for 12-16 singers to perform.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes we are happy to discuss any special requests
