Astri Strings

Astri Strings are a professional violin and cello duo based in West Berkshire. We provide exquisite music for a wide variety of events including weddings, parties and corporate entertainment. We have an extensive repertoire list from Baroque and Classical through to Film themes, Jazz, Pop Music and Bridgerton inspired arrangements. We are passionate about providing the most perfect playlist of music for your event. We have many years of experience in arranging music, so if there is something you would like that is not on our list then please ask and we will happily arrange it for a small fee. Jude Barnby and Victoria Stapleton studied at the Royal College of Music and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama respectively. They have had rich and varied performance careers playing with many professional orchestras and ensembles, as well as theatre and session work. Jude's highlights so far, include playing for George and Amal Clooney at the UK celebration of their marriage. One of Victoria's highlights was playing in the backing strings for Kanye West. We have both have performed at Frogmore house for the Duke of Edinburgh awards, on Temple Island at Henley Regatta and played in period costume at Jane Austen's house.
