About Artume Quartet

String quartet
The Artume String Quartet is based in Birmingham, and plays a range of classical and popular repertoire suitable for all events.

The Artume String Quartet was founded in December 2015 at Birmingham Conservatoire. Since forming, the ensemble have enjoyed working on a number of different works within the repertoire for string quartet, and have performed both at the Conservatoire and external venues such as the New Alexandra Theatre and St. Chads Cathedral in Birmingham. Over the course of their time together they have also collaborated with both pianists and brass players, accompanying major concertos. Throughout their time at Birmingham Conservatoire the quartet have received coaching from all members of the Eblana String Trio, plus members of the Gildas Quartet, Schubert Ensemble and Robin Ireland, head of chamber music at the Conservatoire. The quartet have performed at weddings and other events, and have a selection of light classical, Disney and pop arrangements perfect for such occasions. The quartet comprises of the following members, who are from all over the UK; Oxford, Liverpool, Stratford-Upon-Avon and Exeter respectively.
