Born in the Netherlands, raised by the Irish & adopted by the Geordies, Arian is the human embodiment of a funky good time. A self-taught musician before going on to graduate from Newcastle University's prestigious music programme, Arian made his name busking on city streets before swiftly rising to the stage as a unique & refreshing covers artist. The use of loop-pedals and innovative effects have seen Arian establish himself as a standout performer of Newcastle gig scene, always in high demand. Most notable performances include, amongst others, playing the main stage of Beatherder festival in 2022 as a warm-up act for Chic. Before you ask, yes, Nile Rodgers was playing too.

I hired Arian for my 30th and he brought the whole event to life. He learned a load of songs I asked him to play even though he didn't have much time, made us all feel like we were at a proper gig! Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

In the unlikely case that I happen to have another performance lined up after your event, just let me know! I'll do my best to amend the schedule to best suit both clients. In any other instance it wouldn't be a problem. This is my job. Once a gig is booked, that day becomes prioritised as a working day and nothing else.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. I get asked this all the time. Happy to provide playlist options, signal can cut out at the worst of times so happy to prepare in advance. If you'd like to have an aux party after my set, I'd be happy to provide my services for an additional £100

How much time do you need to set up?

I can load in and set up in 45 minutes, but prefer to have as much time in hand as possible. My ideal scenario is arrive an hour before kickoff, background music playing 30 mins before I start and off-stage, ready to play 10 minutes before my start time.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Absolutely. Given the range of what play, I can see why

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes. I have my own equipment and I can use it very confidently to bring you the best sound possible!

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes. I do tend to charge for custom songs, depending on the scale of the task expect to pay between £25 & £75 to take into account rehearsal times etc. . . If I know it already, it's on the house!
