It was a great pleasure to have April participating in North Wales Opera Studios recent opera course. We were preparing staged scenes from a big variety of operas leading to a performance. April was delightful to work with and took on the challenges she was presented with, especially the duet with Rudolfo at the end of act 1 ,La Boheme. April has a lovely soprano voice ,with a silvery quality and a bright, carrying top . She has a natural stage presence and responds well to direction. I was thrilled with her progress throughout our course (especially in the Boheme ) and she gave an admirable performance on the night.
