Antonia graduated with a First Class Honours degree from the Royal Academy of Music in July 2015 after studying with International Soloist, Jack Liebeck, for four years. During this time, she has performed as a Soloist, Chamber Musician and Freelance violinist with orchestras such as the London Concert Orchestra and Mozart Festival Orchestra, and has enjoyed teaching several private students.
Antonia is currently a Chamber Music Fellow at the Royal Academy of Music and a passionate chamber musician. She is violinist in the Jørgensen Trio, who have won the Harry Isaac’s Piano Trio Prize, the St Martin in the Fields Chamber Music Competition, the Jacob Barnes Scholarship, the Elias Fawcett Trust Prize in the Cavatina Intercollegiate Chamber Music Competition and most recently the Malta International Music Competition. With the trio, Antonia has performed in some of the Country’s leading Venues, such as the Wigmore Hall, Colston Hall, St Martin-in-the-Field’s and the Norfolk and Norwich Festival. Their future engagements include recitals at St John’s Smith Square and for several British Music Societies. As well as their UK concerts, the trio have performed internationally, in Enkirch (Germany), at the Aurora Chamber music Festival in Sweden, in Valletta (Malta) and in October 2016, Antonia will make her debut in LA, California State University where she will give masterclasses and concert with the Trio.
Antonia is also dedicated to teaching and Educational Work. As well as teaching the violin to music students at Brunel University, she was recently a Chamber Music Assistant at Dartington International Summer School and works in schools for the CAVATINA Chamber Music Trust. Her violin is an 1849 Bernadel borrowed from the Royal Academy of Music.
