Bringing the party island to your Wedding Day Anthems of Summer are leading the way in a new wave of entertainment for your event. Imagine the sound of your favourite dance track mixed with the raw energy of live musicians. Whether it is a Wedding, corporate event or birthday Anthems Of Summer will guarantee an amazing night. Anthems of summer was create By Ben Howard in 2022. Ben is a professional musician based In Leeds who has lots of experience in the wedding/ event entertainment industry having played for numerous function bands over the years. Ben has also worked in the orchestra's for Royal Caribbean and Princess Cruises as well as Pantomime for Crossroads entertainment In Aberdeen. Anthems of Summer hosts a number of quality musicians our main band includes; DJ Phil Cain - Who provides music for the full evening as well as joining in with the musicians in the Dj live sets. He is also available for background sets to provide music whilst you and your guests enjoy a drink and a chat and a rest between sections of the day. Vocalist Amy Hannam - Amy is our main vocalist who leads the band with her huge vocal talents. Amy is also available for solo sets for those more chilled out times during the day. We work with a few different musicians and will always notify you if the line up changes from the above. All the musicians we use are of a very high standard so you will have nothing to worry about if it does change. We also have Tanya Payne on Saxophone as an optional Add on. Which can also be combined with a DJ. Behind the scenes we have Kirstyn Barratt who controls all the admin and social accounts for the band. We are mainly an Ibiza / Dance classics band but we can provide a more varied set to please all guests at your event. Please check out the song list on our profile for more details.

Fantastic band, really had all the guests partying and dancing all night long. Had many compliments from the guests that the band was fantastic. They were good sports on the night and gave us all amazing memories. I was initially slightly apprehensive due to the lack of reviews/social media presence but these guys were truly amazing and deffo worth it. I had blisters on my feet from dancing too much!!

So so so many compliments on the band we had at our wedding. The Hot Shots were fantastic , they brought the party and played one hell of a show ! We had the best time and they kept the dance floor going all night.

All day wedding4 musicians

If you are wanting a full day of music without the hassle of booking different musicians, we can help. Included in this will be our wonderful singer to sing whilst you walk down aisle and then a 1 hour set whilst you enjoy some drinks and take photo's. Once our singer is finished our DJ will take over with some chilled out music before you sit down for your wedding breakfast. The main 3 piece band will take over for the rest of the evening.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Our clients love our high energy performances. They love how we are in and amongst the dance floor. They always love our versatility and our willing to change the set to cater to everyone's needs (within reason).

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We played in ALOT of venues. Individually we have performed all over the world in theatres, nightclubs, cruise ships and many more. Together we have played in many different wedding venues and events spaces up and down the country.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

We are mostly inspired by the Pete Tong Heritage orchestra. We love how they have blended computer made tracks and live instruments. It brings such a huge sound and energy boost to the music.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Thats a tough one. We have played at weddings and birthdays for a few celebrities and footballers (it wouldn't be professional to name them). One we can name was the summer party for Mamma's and Papa's.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We do our best to keep our musicians the same but this is not always possible, in this case we work with lots of fantastic musicians who are all just as amazing as Amy.

Do you have different line-up options?

We don't change the band line ups. It will always be Vocals, Keys, Guitar bass, percussion and drums. We can change the size of the band to cater for lower budgets.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We can be flexible on the night. If you let us know prior then that would be great. Although we understand that things don't always go to plan on the day so we are happy to adapt. We wil sometimes have to cut our set short depdning on venue curfews. We also do not play after midnight as most venues do not allow this.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes we will always play music in between our sets. This is standard practice for all our weddings. For an extra £100 we will provide music for up to an hour after your event. If you check out the pricing options we can provide a DJ for an additional cost too.

How much time do you need to set up?

1.5 hours. But we can do it quicker sometimes depending on how easy it is to load in. Sometimes it may not be possible for us to complete a sound check without disturbing your wedding guests so we do ask you to be understanding and let us do it. We will try to get it done as soon as we can.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set list has been created through watching our guests at many previous events giving us a great insight into what people like to listen to. If you have any requests then we would be happy to talk about it and see if we can accommodate for you needs

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes we hire a sound engineer who brings their own PD system with them.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes we can. Please let us know as soon as possible so we can learn it thoroughly. If you ask us within less that 48 hours prior to the event then we will charge an extra £50 per band member
