Music has always been my way of expressing what words can’t. I perform because music allows me to connect with people on a deeper level — to share emotion, tell stories, and create something beautiful in the moment. Every time I play, I aim to make the audience feel something real and lasting. The piano was the first instrument that truly captured my heart. It taught me discipline, expression, and the joy of exploring sound. I achieved my ABRSM Performance Dipolma degree with high merit at the age of 16, which has challenged me to think beyond notes and focus on musical interpretation and artistry. Performing on the piano feels natural — it’s where I can express myself most freely and explore the full range of emotion that music offers. The harp has become an equally important part of my musical journey. I have played harp for over 7 years. The harp’s unique sound and character inspire me to bring clarity, grace, and control to my performances. Through it, I’ve learned the importance of patience, sensitivity, and precision — qualities that have strengthened my musicianship as a whole. Alongside performance, I value the theory that underpins music. I hold ABRSM Grade 8 Music Theory, a milestone that represents not just understanding but appreciation — I’ve grown to love analysing how harmony, structure, and rhythm work together to bring pieces to life. This knowledge has deepened my interpretation and allows me to perform with greater awareness and confidence. One of my proudest achievements was being personally invited by the Mayor of Maidstone to perform at his private event, where my playing left a strong impression. I have also won multiple music competitions, which have given me valuable stage experience and the motivation to continue striving for excellence. These moments remind me how rewarding it is to share music and connect with audiences in meaningful ways. Being part of the Kent County Youth Orchestra and NYO Inspire has also been a highlight of my musical journey. Performing with other talented musicians has strengthened my ensemble skills and given me a deeper appreciation for collaboration and balance within music. What makes my act incredible is my balance of passion, discipline, and sincerity. I approach every piece with care and honesty, striving not only to play accurately but to communicate meaningfully. For me, music isn’t just a skill — it’s a lifelong journey of expression, creativity, and connection.
