Annette Gregory is a jazz vocalist who brings her love of jazz, lots of experience and bags of personality to every performance. Her greatest love is for swing and the songs made famous by the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Mel Torme, Frank Sinatra and Nina Simone. Annette is available as a solo artist, duo accompanied by a piano or you can book Annette with her band. Fab moment performing at Brecon Jazz festival, The Pheasantry Pizza Express live venue, Piece Hall Halifax and so many festival around the United Kingdom.

Unfortunately there is only one show this year, but hopefully Annette and her band will be back in 2020. If you only see one thing at next year’s Buxton Fringe let this be it and you will be guaranteed a fantastic evening.

Customer questions

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

The vocalist you see on the video will be the same, unless I am very seriously ill, which touch wood has never happened. However, I know there is a first time for everything...

Do you have different line-up options?

I do have different line ups... Just because everyone requires or what different things, so I am able to do a short P.A service if you would like. I general have the five piece band with - Vocals, drums, keys, double bass, sax... I can have a bigger band... Do get in touch if you require this, which would include guitar, trumpet.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

If you timing change please do get in touch as soon as possible. Just to ensure I can inform all the musician involved. I am flexible so long as I know, I can work with you.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I tend to have want I call background music, mainly jazz before we start our performance or while we take a break... It is not a DJ service it come as part of the package.

How much time do you need to set up?

Depending on band size we need around 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance for set up... I provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

My list list has been develop with years of experience and countless performance. However, I am happy to discuss the set list and sometime when it is wedding and you would like that special song we can work with you in regards to that for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

I include all the P.A equipment for you event.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

I have at time taken request if that song is a part of our usual repertoire, we can learn a special song if it is within the style that we work in.
