I started writing songs as a teenager. I have been gigging locally for a few years and have played at bars, restaurants, music festivals and private functions. My songs are a soulful reflection of various life experiences and I also perform covers from artists such as Carole King, Alicia Keys, Peggy Lee, Vanessa Carlton.

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I will always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free. If you'd like me to play a pre arranged playlist via my PA at any point, let me know.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually set up about 45 mins - 1 hour before the performance time. As soon as my PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Yes, of course - as long as the piano is in working order and in tune, then I'm happy to play on it!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

My set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests have a great time. However, I'm definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Yes, absolutely! I bring my own instrument to play acoustically.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in my song list there may still be a chance I already know it. If there is a special song you'd like me to learn I'm happy to do this for you.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

My clients comment especially on the warm, soulful nature of my performances which provide a beautiful melodic backdrop to their event.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I've performed at weddings, private functions as well as music festivals, bars and restaurants.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I think I am mostly influenced by jazz and soul singers. For example Otis Redding, Peggy Lee and Carole King.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I've performed at the South West Festival for Food and Drink and also at the Exeter Respect Festival.
