Ann, I want to send a more thoughtful "Thank You" for your stunning performance at the (online) concert last weekend. I know you were a bit apprehensive about how it would sound (on Zoom) but as it happens, it came across very well. Listening to the recording of (Fiocco's) Allegro again has reminded me just what a brilliant piece of music it was. it was easy to listen to and yet it had all the bravura of a major work... I think everyone realised that you were accompanying yourself (using a pre-recorded piano part) and, to me, the balance seemed just right. It was nice that you wore an evening gown for your video, and your professionalism helped inspire the other performers too. You may have heard that the total amount raised by the concert was more than £3,500, so it was a worthwhile evening in every way.

Ann thank you very much for taking part in the 'Moldova' concert once again and giving it that professional touch. I don't think many in the audience will have heard a virtuoso performance on the violin, and they must have been quite overwhelmed. The (Wieniawski) Polonaise (Op 21 in A) made a powerful contribution to the programme with its complexity and variety. Musical members of the audience, of course, will have appreciated just how much effort went into the piece... yesterday I received compliments all round for the quality of the performances, so I can pass on congratulations and thanks from everyone at Emmanuel (church).
