Ann thank you very much for taking part in the 'Moldova' concert once again and giving it that professional touch. I don't think many in the audience will have heard a virtuoso performance on the violin, and they must have been quite overwhelmed. The (Wieniawski) Polonaise (Op 21 in A) made a powerful contribution to the programme with its complexity and variety. Musical members of the audience, of course, will have appreciated just how much effort went into the piece... yesterday I received compliments all round for the quality of the performances, so I can pass on congratulations and thanks from everyone at Emmanuel (church).

A big 'thank you' Ann for coming yesterday evening and making my birthday so very special! That piece (Canco i Dansa No 1 by Frederic Mompou) was utterly beautiful, and so many people I spoke to said it was the highlight of the evening for them too.
