MacDonald Ceilidh Caller/Band

We are all Conservatoire qualified, myself as a pianist and opera singer, P performs with a National orchestra and J is a cellist and conductor. In additional to our Classical lineup, we perform Ceilidhs and lighter musical events in London and around the UK. We have accordionists and drummers who add numbers to our band as required! We have performed widely at home and abroad, including many TV and radio appearances. Our lineup can be 2, 3, or 4 people, depending upon your budget, and we all have transport and our own PA system, instruments and mics. We perform every weekend at weddings, private functions, festivals and parties. Please note we get a lot of gigs, so early booking is essential. A list of our dances is on the song-list tab here. I also call the ceilidh dances, and get involved, helping audience members to demonstrate, prizes for the best dancers, competitions etc. I can use radio mics to call from the dancefloor or perform on keyboard and call too. We also provide backing music throughout the events such as wedding meals, and I can play/sing songs for you while you wind down, or in the background for art events and openings.
