Angus Parkin

I am a freelance musician, songwriter and producer based in London. With years of live experience including playing with Paul Gilbert, Seven Decades, both Sam and Jo Brown, Science of The Lamps, Tilly Valentine and Conan Mac to name a few. This has ended me up in some of the best studios in the country, including British Grove Studios and Metropolis Studios. Through my love for the guitar and the creative process I quickly found myself absorbed in the songwriting world, and I'm here to stay. As an artist, I blend my folk inspired songwriting background into a modern Alt/Soul/Jazz arrangement style to create a relaxing and unique listening experience. The mesh of guitars with ambient/alternative production elements creates a tapestry of melody and rhythm that aims to take the listener on a journey. I also love writing for other artists and briefs, with credits on records of all genres and some songs that hold a special place in my heart due to the sentiment of those briefing me to write them (proposal songs etc). I'm a graduate of the Academy of Contemporary Music studying under Jon Bishop, Mike Goodman, Michael Casswell and Giorgio Serci, achieving first class honours in 2017.
