Singing guitarist

Growing up in Ireland I was surrounded by such rich cultural and musical heritage which inspired me to one day become a singer and guitarist. When my family moved to England, music was always a huge part of my life in one way or another. Through my personal journey I have encountered some amazing people who have inspired me to take my music to the next level. In the begining I had been performing to a small group of friends and family who have always encouraged me to become a professional musician. I began performing in a local guitar club where I was introduced to some incredibly talented performers, some of whom I later founded my band with. I still perform with my band and occasionally as a duo, which are great fun. I also perform solo and really enjoy the variety each opportunity brings, no day is ever the same. Music to me is a universal language that brings everyone together and it is such a privilege to be able to bring joy through my music to so many people. I love singing and playing acoustic guitar, which to me is the most beautiful combination. In my other career as a mental health nurse, I know only too well how music can be a source of comfort, fun and everything in between to so many people. In my mental health role, I get to see the difference it makes to people how I can make them feel, Similarly in my music career what's important to me is how music makes people feel. If it resonates with people, they enjoy it, if they enjoy it, I enjoy it all the more. There are so many happy memories I have performing over the years, such as performing on stage with E.L.O's Dave Morgan but the most poignant moment for me so far, was having the honour of performing at England Goal Keeper Hannah Hampton's grandfathers funeral memorial. There's not many situations in life where you get to move people like you can with music that connects with something that is meaningful to them.

We first met Andy at the Warwickshire Wedding Show, as soon as we heard him singing, we could instantly picture him at our wedding. We listened to him singing a few songs, all were familiar and his cover version were sung in such a lovely way that we instantly thought he would be perfect for our day. He has a great voice and adds a lot of emotion to his covers. We knew then and there that we wanted to book him for our wedding. Since the first contact Andy has been great with his communication, he's both personable and professional. He's been to our venue to check the location which shows that he takes his bookings seriously. We can't wait for him to be a part of our day. We think he's going to be a special addition and really set the tone for the day.
