Andrew has done side-by-side training with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, and performed alongide the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as performing in the Welsh National Youth Opera in their award winning performance of Paul Bunyan. He has since gone on to work with notable orchestras such as the Welsh National Opera Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Sinfonia Cymru, British Sinfonietta. Highlights include performing live on BBC radio 3, and recording the soundtrack to Doctor Who. Andrew teaches all orchestral brass and brass band instruments to students of all ages and regularly works as a tutor, taking part in educational workshops and concerts, and is Head of Brass for the Young National Schools Symphony Orchestra. Andrew takes chamber ensembles into schools, bringing live music to young children and encouraging them to learn through inspirational and imaginative workshops.
