Andrew played beautifully on our wedding day at our church service, which created an amazing atmosphere and sounded incredible with our organist. He went above and beyond to Collab with the organist in the lead up to the wedding, for a perfect performance all round. Andrew is very talented and it was a pleasure to have him play at our wedding. Albinoni/Adagio in particular- wow! Thanks again Andrew- you're a gent. Mr and Mrs Lawlor

Andrew was nothing short of absolutely exceptional. He stole the show! From sending us sample recordings of our pieces after booking him for our date, to proactively coordinating with the organist to rehearse those pieces, Andrew made sure that he was perfectly prepared for our wedding day. During the service itself, his performance was outstanding, a real triumph, and it made the whole thing incredibly special and moving. We truly can’t thank Andrew enough for making our wedding what it was. Emily & Greg

Andrew Lennox has played in my wedding band for years now and I've always been happy when he's on the gig. He's punctual, prepared and always willing to drive if necessary. The gigs move at a fast pace and I appreciated that Andrew was able to adapt to new circumstances and make the music his priority. Would definitely recommend!

Andrew taught trumpet privately at my school for 1 year and we were sad to see him go. He brought a professionalism to my students that didn't waver for any age group. I was able to witness him teach sectionals with my band trumpet section and I really appreciated how he focused on the fundamentals of good section playing. Every student left understanding their role and what they needed to do to serve the section. St George's is one of the top boys school in the province and Andrew certainly made a valuable contribution to our trumpet section.

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I'm available to chat about changes at anytime. This business is fluid and things change, so I'm very understanding of the need to be flexible within reason.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

no

How much time do you need to set up?

Set up takes no time at all. I Just throw the mouthpiece into the instrument and start blowing!

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

yes if applicable.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

yes I do!

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

I'm very quick at learning new music. Even by ear if there's no sheet music

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

St Peters Church, Ealing Orpheum, Vancouver Chan Centre, Vancouver Queen Elizabeth Theatre, Vancouver Millenium Park, Chicago

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

The teachers from my two degree's would be the largest influence of my playing today. The years that I've spent listening to them play in lessons has formed my sound concept and musicality. My second biggest influence would be my old church choir director. She taught me that the most beautiful music could be pulled from the bleakest collection of notes.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Playing Richard Strauss's Don Juan With the Vancouver Symphony. I've also performed Mahler 6, Sibelius 2 and the soundtrack to LaLaLand with them.
